Over the past few months, we have been working on improving the software and adding new features. Here is a selection of updates that we hope will be useful to you.

Custom roles and permissions

You can now create your own roles and define precisely the permissions associated with each one. Each user can be assigned a role that matches their position: sales, accountant, employee, or any other role you define.

Good news: users with read-only access are now free of charge on the Basic, Pro and Enterprise plans.

Multi-dimensional units

Create units with 2 to 7 dimensions using a custom calculation formula. Perfect for trades and crafts working with surface areas, volumes or lengths: carpenters, tilers, roofers, electricians…

The dimension details can be shown or hidden on the final document, according to your preferences.

Quote to invoice conversion improved

When converting a quote into a balance invoice, Toolcie now automatically selects the deposits already issued for that quote. You can preview each invoice, uncheck them if needed, or enter a manual amount. The summary (already invoiced / to be invoiced / remaining balance) is displayed in real time.

Shipping address on quotes

A shipping address can now be added directly on quotes, as was already the case for invoices.

Item detail display

In your quotes and invoices, you can now choose how to display item details: in the table, at the bottom of the page, or not at all.

Email delivery: 6 providers available

To improve the deliverability of your emails, you can now choose from 6 providers: Toolcie, Google (Gmail), Microsoft (Outlook, Hotmail, Live), iCloud, Yahoo and AOL. An advanced SMTP mode is also available for custom configurations.

Using your own email provider is the best way to make sure your quotes and invoices land in your clients' inbox. Learn more about email deliverability

Stock management

A few improvements have been made to stock management:

• Choose when stock is reduced: upon invoice finalization, sending or payment.
• Option to block invoice finalization if stock is insufficient.
• Full history of stock movements.

Electronic invoicing

Electronic invoicing is already available for our customers in Belgium since late 2025. It is coming soon to France, where it becomes mandatory in September 2026. Toolcie will be ready well ahead of the deadline.
